A Well Deserved Rest!
Hello friend. sorry it has been such a long time since I last wrote to you. But I have been enjoying a week off. Spring is in full swing now here in England, and the Hubby and I decided to go on a short break to Cornwall.
As you might be aware, the great British weather is somewhat unpredictable, and what was hoped to be a sunny long weekend turned into a very VERY rainy one. This is never a bad thing for me, as it gives me time to catch up on some much wanted reading, writing and creating.
I always take something away with me that I have been waiting for the time to indulge in. This time, it was a book I bought in my local book shop about Chakras and how to look after them in your day to day life. It has been something I have been curious about for some time so I knew I would find it interesting and I didn’t want the interruption of normal life.
It turns out that mindfulness and our chakras are very closely linked. I haven’t finished the book (I am not that quick at reading!) but I have already learnt a lot about how what I am already doing can positively effect my chakras. Look out for more content on the website in the months to come!
I also use this down time to start drafting posts – I think I have about 8 lined up after this little trip! Cornwall is a very inspirational place for me. Maybe one day I will take you there, buddy?

This week has been such an important one for me. Getting away and allowing my brain to calm down has led to me being so much more creative and productive. Even though it was only for a few days, it was enough to give me the boost I needed.
Sometimes we all need to be reminded to look after ourselves, and this week has certainly achieved that for me!
