I am probably the hardest person to buy a gift for! People ask me what I want and I say ‘surprise me’ or ‘something pretty’! I know it’s annoying but I can’t help myself! So for those of you fellas out there who are struggling for ideas, here’s a little list for you to consider.
Homemade or pre-bought, which ever works best for you. The best reason to make you own one up is that you can tailor it to the person you are making it for. I love making hampers up for people as gifts; I fill them with things I know they like but would never get for themselves, like posh food, luxury beauty products or even candles and booze! You can also buy some cool ones from department stores too.
· Spa day
I don’t know many women who don’t like a spa day! A whole day of pampering and relaxation is what most busy women would cherish. Even better if they can turn it into a girly weekend away with the besties! Check out SpaBreaks.com for some amazing deals for day and weekend retreats. A personal favourite of mine are the Aqua Sana Spa’s at Centre Parcs; I go there at least once a year!
· Experience Days
If the person you are buying for has a particular thing on their bucket list, why not buy them and experience day? From Gin tours to Hot Air Balloon rides, there’s loads you can pick. There’s a load of different websites you can shop on, but my particular favourite is Red Letter Days. Not only do they have a huge variety of options to choose from, but they even let you create vouchers so you can let them decide what they do!
· Anything Handmade
Most women I know love the idea of having something unique which has been made with love. I can spend hours browsing on Etsy, Folksy and Not On The High Street looking for goodies for friends (and myself!).
I hope that gives you some inspiration, happy shopping!
